Grain Department (Service):
We have grain facilities at each of our locations with the following storage capacitates; Addieville 765,000 bu.; Mascoutah 855,000 bu.; Okawville 1,590,000 bu.; Pierron 392,000 bu.; St. Libory 235,000 bu.; Trenton 857,000 bu. That gives us a total capacity of 4,694,000 bushels. We handle corn, soybeans and wheat at each location except Mascoutah, which is a wheat only facility. We also handle specialty grains such as Non GMO corn and soybeans and Hard Endo corn as a direct ship or picked up at your bin.
We offer Flat Price contracts, Price Later contracts, Basis contracts, and Hedge-to-Arrive contracts. Open storage for corn, soybeans, or wheat is also an option. Any of these marketing tools can be used whether you deliver locally to one of our elevators, or have one of our 9 semi-trucks pick up your grain, or if you deliver direct to the river with your own semi-truck. We also take “call” offers and “sell” offers to help you capture good prices.
We post our closing bids on our web site each day along with “Closing Market” comments. Closing bids are also available on a recording at our Okawville and Trenton location phones after hours. We also can send market updates by text to your cell phone daily.
