We have 8 grain facilities with more than 11 million bushels of storage. We continue to expand and upgrade our grain facilities, adding bin space and improving dumping speeds at all our locations.

With our set up of large pits, you simply pull in, dump and leave to get back to the field for the next load.

We also offer storage at competitive rates.

Our grain facilities are located in Addieville, Mascoutah (wheat only), Okawville, Pierron, St. Libory, Trenton, Highland and New Douglas.

Competitive bids, multiple contracting options

You’ll find our grain bids are extremely competitive, which is thanks in part to our access to markets. This includes rail options out of Addieville and Okawville locations to Southeast U.S. processors, end users, feed areas and poultry areas. We can co-load up to a 90-car unit train.

Our merchandisers will work with you on the pricing strategy you want to employ. In addition to flat price sales, a few options include:

Forward contract  A straightforward way to market grain. There is no minimum bushel amount and no service fee. Unlike options and Minimum Price Contracts, there is no premium to pay. However, with a forward contract, farmers cannot benefit if prices rise.

Basis contract – When basis levels are strong, this contract allows you to lock in that strength and set your futures price later.

Hedge-to-Arrive – This contract allows you to lock in the futures price, while allowing the basis to be set at a later date.

We do have other specialty contracts available as well!

Wheat...White wheat markets remained well-supported through the week
as USDA showed current prices levels remain attractive to global buyers.
Indonesia, typically a price-conscious "swing" buyer, booked 2.5 mb of
U.S. white wheat and along with 2.4 mb in bookings from "unknown", put
white wheat at the top of the sellers for U.S. wheat last week. Nearby
basis reflected the interest, strenghtening as needed against Chicago
futures to hold cash bids competitive within 20 cents of the $9 level.
Weekly Sales...With the exception of white wheat, USDA showed export
demand for U.S. wheat waned over the past week. Sales of 9.2 mb came in
at less than half the four-week average, putting current year commitments
at 303 mb which sets 2% below a year ago and 9% under the 5-year average
pace. White wheat led as top seller for the week, registering 5 mb in new
business to put sales at 68 mb and stands 18% ahead of a year ago but 22%
below average. Hard red winter recorded only 2.7 mb and with 88 mb in the
books, sets 16% behind a year ago and 10% below average. Hard red spring
saw 1.3 mb in sales, putting commitments at 84 mb which sets 4% behind a
year ago but 28% above average.

Daily Grain History

Flex your fleet size when you need it

When you have a need for extra hauling capacity, look to Top Ag. We will pick up grain at your farm bin or field; we will spot (drop) trailers in your field at harvest time; and you have the option of sending the grain to the elevator for open storage or warehouse receipt storage.

Our trucks are for hire, and we will quote you a rate on anything you may have to haul. Our drivers know farming and most area farms, and they live and work in the counties where you farm.

Keep us in mind when you market your farm-stored grain and plan your agronomy inputs.
